Elinor ๐ฑ
Community shift coordination that lives where the community already talks โ Telegram โ and stores everything on an open protocol โ Nostr.
Named after Elinor Ostrom: clear boundaries, rules people shape together, and transparency instead of permissions. Try /principles in the group.
What it does
/shiftsโ a day browser in the group (โ today โธ) with each shift's crew and open spots, and buttons that open the Mini App on the right screen. Sent inside a topic, it makes that topic the home of all shift messages.- Mini App โ your upcoming shifts, sign up or cancel, tap an open spot to add anyone (type a new name to create a guest), tap a name to message or remove them. Live: signups from other apps appear while it is open.
- Announcements โ every change is posted publicly and attributed (@paul added @xavier to โฆ). A cancel carries a Join Dana button so the freed spot is easy to cover.
- Reminders that recruit โ the evening before and an hour before, one public message per shift mentioning the crew, with a join button while spots remain; a gap alert at 19:00 for tomorrow.
- Morning report โ optional daily post: weather for your city, one line per shift, how many people are still needed, sign-up button.
- Calendars โ subscribe once to your personal feed or the whole group's (Apple, Google, any ICS app).
- Guests โ people not on Telegram can be put on shifts; when they join, their history follows them.
- Settings โ the shift catalog (names, times, capacity, descriptions), guests, mirror relays, notifications topic, morning report โ all in the app, every change announced.
- Whiteboard sync โ a physical board and the app can be reconciled from a photo by any agent using the whiteboard-sync skill.
